Nina Bawden – Intervention Specialist
Since graduating with a degree in psychology I have worked with children, young people and adults with a range of mental health issues and learning disabilities in both educational and social care settings. Within each position I have had the opportunity to work in conjunction with a variety of professionals to help achieve positive outcomes for children and young adults. Alongside these roles I have worked with an NHS support group for friends and families caring for individuals with Personality Disorder. Within this role I assist in an audit currently being conducted in the department and at psychoeducational weekends where I support and lead group work.
Through my education, work life and voluntary work I have developed a broad range of skills, approaches and knowledge which I will combine to facilitate positive behavioural change for vulnerable young people in Oxfordshire. I am always keen to expand and update my knowledge and skills; hence I am so excited to work at One-Eighty where innovation is central to effective behaviour support. I am really looking forward to working in such an enthusiastic and dynamic environment where I can make a real difference to the lives of children, young people and their families.
