One-Eighty can provide personal support for you and your child.
We work with a whole range of young people at One-Eighty experiencing many different challenges. We offer an approach that can either be one-to-one for you, your child, or for your whole family. We’re an innovative and interactive service, and we often give you strategies that we would like you to try out at home.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) form the foundations for support, in addition to drawing on child development and attachment theories and awareness of the impact of trauma.
One-Eighty seek to celebrate neurodiversity, exploring how the individual perceives and responds to the world; adapting strategies to promote the young person in realising their potential.
Our support is flexible depending on what we both agree would suit you, your child and your situation the best.
Private client work at One-Eighty consists of an assessment phase, which includes an hour meeting with your child and an hour meeting with yourself. This is then followed by a series of weekly individual one hour sessions over a period of 6-10 weeks, which usually take place at our offices.
Our private service is part of our charitable work: any income generated through our private services goes directly to subsidise the delivery of support to vulnerable children and families in the community.
