Reading Corner

Join One-Eighty’s Reading Corner and challenge yourself to go on a new reading adventure. Our team have collated a list of some of our favourite books which we would love to share with you.

How do I get involved?

Sign up through our Just Giving page and donate £1.80 or more.

www.justgiving.com/fundraising/180bookcorner

You will then be emailed our recommendations, along with something to help you keep track of all your reading!

Once you fill up your tracker and send it back to us at fundraising@one-eighty.org.uk, you will receive a downloadable certificate to celebrate your acheivement!

You will also have access to our book review forms, for both primary and secondary schools below.

You can share your thoughts on every book you read and send it back to us at fundraising@one-eighty.org.uk - we will then share your thoughts with other young people on social media.

In these uncertain times, we know it may be tricky to get hold of some of these books. Therefore, we will also provide you with YouTube links so you can read along with the video. We will also direct you to organisations who are providing free books and storytelling at this time.

Where will my donation go?

One-Eighty is committed to supporting vulnerable young people in Oxfordshire and neighbouring counties. We have already sent ‘first aid home packs to young people to use at home and have successfully delivered engaging sessions over the phone and online …but we want to do more.

£84 allows us to check in with a young person and their family to support with ad-hoc needs whilst they are isolated in their home.

£282 allows us to deliver a weekly session, check-in with their parent/carer and deliver a weekly pack of resources to support during the COVID-19 period.

We look forward to reading with you!
